Chapters of a decade owes its name to Mescaliner's 10th year of existence. It was decided, then, to do something different for a change. Having good experiences with a live-show that took place earlier in a semi-acoustic setup, we set out on a course to record an EP using this setup.
We invited some people we came to know over the years and started jamming together. Without any clue of where the music would lead us, we recorded a number of jams and selected the ones that felt best to us. The result is an EP that defines Mescaliner at its core being: A gathering of musicians creating music right on the spot.

I have music from a number of post-rock artists in my collection, but I find myself coming back to this masterpiece time and again. This might be the best post-rock album of all time, superior to even its predecessor. The title is spot on - listening from beginning to end whisked me away on the most vivid journey of the mind I've experienced since Jean-Michel Jarre's "Oxygène 7-13" a quarter-century ago.
